I painted this work at the beginning of total Covid 19 Corona Virus lockdown in the UK.
The virus came upon us so suddenly changing our lives so completely, I felt the need to make a piece of work which expressed this strange fear of the invisible, and of each other which hit us all like a whirlwind. 
I wanted, through the mystery of the layering in the background, and the asemic writing, to express the confusion and vulnerability we all felt about the tiny but monstrous beast that we could not see, but a monster that could kill us.
 
This painting comes framed in black wood and ready to hang.
