June has been exhausting! Patrick Elder, Colin (Slee) and myself are now nearing the end of our exhibition at the beautiful, light filled Artspace Gallery. The exhibition is a big success with visitors making lovely comments about how well we work together.
After many years of not taking part in Suffolk Open Studios, I decided to try one weekend. To prepare, I made my own publicity flier and with son Richard's help I created a Woodbridge O S map. These pictures show the studio and conservatory cleared and ready for action! In retrospect it was a really good weekend of sunshine, meeting up with old friends and new, 30 odd visitors each day, and sales. I will probably open again for a weekend next year.
I have been very busy this June and failed to keep up this blog unfortunately, so going back to the 23rd of May; Colin Slee, Lucy Lutyens and myself took advantage of the beautiful new Courtyard Gallery in Aldeburgh to exhibit a new version of MINDS EYE which ran from June 23 - 29th. We decided to keep the title as it is very evocative of what we are all wanting to say in our work. The three of us hope to continue travelling to new venues under the tile. The show in Aldeburgh
